Hi Everyone !

Onam is the harvest festival of Kerala, celebrated with fun and favour by Malayalees across India and around the world.......

As you all aware that this years onam on its way and the ten days of "Atham" already started !!!!

Ipswich Kerala Cultural Association & Kerala Community Supplementary School already started the onam celebrations. As you all knows that last Bank Holiday we conducted a BBQ cum Onam games and card games at Great Blekenham village Hall ......Hearty congratulations for all the winners.

Also the shuttle tournament will start today at 12.30pm in Northgate Sports Centre, Ipswich IP4 3DJ. and call Mr. Binish George on 07722929817or Mr. Sajan philip on 07588434246 for more details and registrations.

On Coming friday 5th September the day before Onam at 5.30pm there will be an "Athappoovidal" competition in St. Albans High school hall. Please form a team of 4 people and register your name with coordinators Aji Benny 07837295904 or Sobha Saji 07735089407.

Please note that "VEENDUM Ponnonam 2014" will be a spectacular event for all Malayalaee families living in Ipswich and surrounding areas.Celebrations will start on 6th Septemeber Saturday sharp at 10.00am Onam procession with King Mahabali and a variety of Entertainments and cultural activities by KCA & KCSS members and children, Traditional Onasadya , vadamvali and various country sports.

The main attraction of next Saturday's celebration will be a live Ganamela by leading troupe "Genious voice, London" ,

So come and celebrate the spirit of the harvest festival with KCA in all its splendours.

We are looking forward to see you all on next Saturday at 10.00am in St.Albans Catholic High School, DIGBY ROAD, IPSWICH IP4 3NJ.
