2023~ല്‍ ഏകദേശം 28,100 ഒന്നാം വര്‍ഷ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ ഈ വിഷയം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു ~ അങ്ങനെ ആദ്യമായി മെട്രിക്കുലന്റുകളില്‍ 20~ല്‍ ഒരാള്‍. ഫെഡറല്‍ സ്ററാറ്റിസ്ററിക്കല്‍ ഓഫീസ്, വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചുവരുന്ന പ്രവണതയുടെ പ്രധാന കാരണം നോണ്‍~മെഡിക്കല്‍ ഹെല്‍ത്ത്, നഴ്സിംഗ് പ്രൊഫഷനുകളുടെ അക്കാദമികവല്‍ക്കരണമായി കാണുന്നു. MINT വിഷയങ്ങളും കൂടുതല്‍ വളര്‍ച്ച നേടുന്നു. 2003~ല്‍ ഏകദേശം 45,000 വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ അവരുടെ ആദ്യ സെമസ്റററില്‍ ഈ വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. 2023 അധ്യയന വര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ഏകദേശം 50,800 ~ 20 വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പുള്ളതിനേക്കാള്‍ 13 ശതമാനം കൂടുതല്‍.
